Who We Help

Women and Children:

Women make up half of the world’s population and yet represent 70% of the world’s poor. For the millions of women living in poverty, their lives are filled with of injustice, discrimination, violence, and obstacles, which prevent them from meeting their basic needs of good health, education and employment. The hardships experienced by these women in poverty also affect their children continuing the cycle of poverty. These children experience fewer opportunities, poor health and lack access to education or job training.

I believe that by focusing assistance on women and children, everyone in the world community will benefit. Providing women with financial aid, job training, education and small business assistance will enable them to rebuild their lives and sustain the advancements to their lives and the lives of their children. Also, providing access to education and beneficial job training to these children will assist the families who struggle to meet these needs

Studies continue to show that when women command greater power, education and wealth, children’s health and nutrition improves, communities prosper and terrorism and violence declines.
