North Lawndale College Prep Grant Award

Congratulations NLCP, they have been awarded a $20,000 grant for their Taking Flight Program.  The funds will be used for the 2015/2016 school year.  the program addresses the barriers that low-income students face in completing a higher education,  There are 5 core elements to this program: College Exposure, “Success Colleges”, Financial support, Mentoring and Personal Support  The Phoenix Rising summer program is also a requirement for students to participate.
