New Grant Award to Rising Tide Capital (RTC)

A grant of $15,000.00 for 5 scholarships.

RT’s CBA is a 12 week/semester long adult entrepreneurship education course, accredited by St Peter’s University.  70% of CBA students are low income women.  The foundation will sponsor 5 scholarships to provide tuition to this program.  Over the last 10 years they have graduated 1,114 CBA Entrepreneurs with over 500 businesses and another 500+ in the planning stages.

Latest Grant Awards

4 grants have been awarded to some awesome projects to help women and Children.  I will post more information on each program at a later time, but congratulations to the following organizations:

Women’s Global Empowerment Fund – Supplement to complete pilot program for Women’s Health and Hygiene in Uganda

North Lawndale College Prep in Chicago, to fund an additional 25 students for their Phoenix Rising Program

The Batonga Foundation which will be matched by USAID for a small country in West Africa assisting girls in secondary school.

Roots and Wings Foundation in NJ that assist Foster Children who have aged out with housing, education, case management and mentoring.

McQuade Foundation Awards Grant to WGEF

Congratulations to the Women’s Global Empowerment fund. You have been awarded a $18,000.00 grant to further your work in Uganda. WGEF offers women access to microcredit loans, business development training and educational initiatives. The focus will be on three areas: leadership development, literacy and health initiatives.
