Grants awarded in August, September, October and November

Sorry for the delay in posting.  Even though I haven’t posted announcements, the Foundation has been busy awarding Grants to the following organizations:

  • International Rescue Committee
  • The Pangae Network, works in Kenya to provide women with education and business skills and also with the resources to make a wage on their own
  • Community Housing Works in San Diego funding for their next generation success program which provides services such as an afterschool program, career pathways and a scholarship program.
  • Sacred Valley Health works with women in Peru for their Women’s Health Program that focuses of women’s reproductive health and training health workers
  • Children’s Trust Roanoke, Children First Child abuse prevention.
  • Upower out of Seattle that provides trauma based coaching.
  • Upendo United Foundation out of Kenya and offers digital literacy services and skills for youth who otherwise would not have access.
  • Supporting Area Families Everyday out Pennsylvania who works with women children and families who have suffered through domestic violence.
  • Students Run Philly Style out of Philadelphia that mentors at risk youth through running and mentorship programs.
  • YWCA Central Carolinas- Women in Tranisiton
  • The Citizens Foundation, working with women and girls in Pakistan helping them obtain literary skills.
  • Ladies Let’s Talk, works with immigrant Women primarily from Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Eritrea and Cuba providing them with English skills.
  • Radiant Futures, works with women and children who have experience domestic violence in Orange County, CA
  • Ness Healthcare, in Louisiana for their Pregnant and Postpartum Women’s Residential Treatment Program
  • TeachUNITED, student and teacher program in rural areas of Mississippi and Missouri.
  • Street Child, helping women in Napal start small businesses and gain financial independence.
  • Girls on the Run- Minnesota, scholarships for their running program for girls.
  • The Exodus Road, work with victims of human sex trafficking in Thailand
  • Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi, asssist with inmate release VET Tech program.
  • Treehouse, out of Seattle and focuses of foster care children
  • Yellowstone Forever, kids expedition Yellowstone program
  • Wings for Widows,  out of Minnesota, offering support to women who have lost their spouse

 

These are all amazing programs that the Foundation is pleased to support.

I will announce in late December the timing for application submission for 2025.
